The EcoCompass system provides a practical framework for developing and managing environmental work and supporting continuous improvement.

WHO IS BEHIND BALECO?
Baleco was founded by Sanna Leinonen (M.Sc. in Process Engineering, PhD in Chemical Technology), a multidisciplinary expert with experience across industry, research, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship.
Her professional background includes:
~10 years in the paper, printing and chemical industry
Technical marketing and technical customer service management, R&D, sustainability.

years in Research Organizations (VTT and Universities)
DeepTech Research and business development, sustainability, clusters, projects.
~5 years in Sustinability and DeepTech start-ups
Sustainability management and communication, circular product and business design, projects, grants.

years as an entrepreneur

This combination of experience brings together a unique understanding of the journey from technology and research to innovation, communication and sustainable business.
